Transfer Preferred Care

You can transfer Preferred Care 2-year plans for Pixel 6, Pixel 6 Pro, and older phones if you give your phone to a new owner. To request to transfer owners, go to the My Device Protect page.

Transfers only work in the country or region where the device was bought. For example, if you bought the device in the US, you can not transfer Preferred Care if you give the device to someone in Canada.

You can not transfer Preferred Care to a different phone. It covers only the phone it was purchased with.

You can not transfer Preferred Care 2-year plans for Pixel 6a and newer devices or Preferred Care Monthly Coverage plans to a new owner.

Get a refund for a returned phone
