Early Access games program

With Stadia Early Access, you can purchase games that are still in development and play them before they are officially released. With your involvement, these games will evolve as you and the Stadia community provide feedback to the games' developers.

Early Access games are unfinished products. They may have playability issues (including the potential loss of save progress), may change without notice, may have their content ratings change after purchase, and may or may not be updated further or completed. Purchase Early Access games only if you want to play a game in its current state of development. You may lose access to the game if the developer does not finish it.

How do I join Early Access?

Is Early Access the same as pre-purchasing?

No. When you purchase an Early Access game on Stadia, you'll get immediate access to a playable game in a pre-release state of development. If the game receives an official release, you'll still have access to it.

How do I give feedback?

Some games in Early Access will let you submit feedback to the developer directly in the game, but you'll always be able to give feedback directly to the developer through a link on the product details page.

When do Early Access games get released?

The developer of each game will determine when it's ready to graduate from Early Access. Some developers update games with a scheduled release date, while others depend on feedback from the community to determine their release schedule. Some Early Access games may never get released, so make sure you're excited about playing a game in a pre-release state before you purchase it.
