Claim free games with Stadia Pro

As a Stadia Pro subscriber, you can claim and keep free games each month. After you claim a game, it will be added to your library. You'll be able to play games that you've claimed as long as you have an active Stadia Pro subscription.

Note: To receive notifications about Stadia Pro games, go to your notifications settings in the Stadia app Stadia icon.

To claim free games:

On stadia.com

  1. Sign in to your account on stadia.com.
  2. On the home screen, scroll down to 'Pro games to claim'.
    • Note: This section will only appear if you have an active Stadia Pro subscription.
  3. Claim individual games or all currently available Pro games:
    • To claim individual games or bundles, click a game or bundle and then click Claim.
    • To add all currently available Stadia Pro games to your library, click Claim all.

In the Stadia Store (stadia.com)

  1. Sign in to your account on stadia.com.
  2. Click Store and then scroll down to 'Stadia Pro games' and then click See all.
  3. Click the game or bundle that you want to claim and then click Claim.

Note: After you claim a game, the word 'Claimed' will appear under the game's title.

In the Stadia Store (Stadia app)

  1. On your mobile device, open the Stadia app Stadia icon.
  2. Tap Store and then scroll down to 'Stadia Pro games' and then tap See all.
  3. Tap the game or bundle that you want to claim and then tap Claim.

Note: After you claim a game, the word 'Claimed' will appear under the game's title.

Claiming games FAQ

What's the difference between a 'Claimed' and 'Purchased' game?
Games that are marked 'Claimed' are offered as a part of being a Stadia Pro subscriber. Games that are marked 'Purchased' are games that you have specifically purchased from the Stadia Store.

What happens to my claimed games if my Stadia Pro subscription expires?
If your subscription to Stadia Pro expires, you'll lose access to games that you've claimed. If you reactivate your Stadia Pro subscription, you'll regain access to the games that you previously claimed, and your saved game data will remain intact.

If you choose not to resubscribe to Stadia Pro, you'll have the option to purchase and play any games that you previously claimed as a Stadia Pro subscriber. Your saved game data will remain intact.

Can I claim a game or bundle that I've already purchased?
No. However, if you purchased a game or bundle, you'll be able to play it whether or not you have an active Stadia Pro subscription.

Can I purchase a game or bundle that I've already claimed?
If you have an active Stadia Pro subscription, you can't purchase a game or bundle that you've already claimed. However, if your Stadia Pro subscription expires, you can choose to purchase the game or activate your Stadia Pro subscription to play it again for free. In either case, your saved game data will remain intact.

I manage a Family Link group with supervised members. Can I restrict which games they claim?
Yes. If you set up Family Link supervision for your family group, supervised group members will not be able to view or claim games with a content rating higher than what you have allowed them.
