What data we use to generate flood forecasts models

Flood Forecasts rely on various weather data sources, including:

  • ECMWF forecasts
  • CPC rain gauge measurements
  • IMERG precipitation
  • Modified Copernicus Sentinel data [2023]
  • HydroSHEDS: this product, Flood Forecasts, incorporates data from the HydroSHEDS version 1 database which is © World Wildlife Fund, Inc. (2006-2022) and has been used herein under license.
