A pinching gesture controls image zoom throughout Snapseed. In the following three Tools and Filters, however, pinching can be used a little differently.
- Lens Blur Pinching alters the size, shape, or rotation of the area focus.
- Selective Pinching adjusts the size of the affected area.
- Vignette Pinching adjusts the vignette's center size.
These additional uses are only active when the on-image dot is blue. To deselect the dot and enable zooming, tap anywhere else on the image. The dot will now be gray, and the pinch gesture now controls image zoom. To regain the functions listed above, tap the gray dot to turn it back to blue.
