Can I make a page on my new google site password protected? 1 Recommended Answer 7 Replies 183 Upvotes

I've read the pages it suggests based on my topic in the community, but they don't seem to match what I'm looking for. I'm trying to share a google folder on a page, but I don't want the world to see it. I just want my students to see the items in the folder. I don't need the whole site password protected, I just need that page or two protected.

Hiding a page in navigation does not hide it from site search.

You can always us an md5 converter to change the custom path and send the encrypted page link to the students instead.

This is your path             ^          (md5 encrypt it and put a custom path down, copy + paste)

I saw a google site that was able to do password protection, but I could not find out how to do it. Maybe you have to embed some sort of html thing? I want to be able to do this on my site too.
