Transition from classic to new Google Sites
0
We are approaching the September 1, 2021 transition date for Classic Sites on personal accounts. Starting September 1, 2021, you will no longer be able to edit your classic sites and they will no longer be viewable by anyone.

If you want your websites to continue to be viewable, you must convert and publish them to the new Google Sites experience before September 1, 2021. You can learn more about how to convert your classic site to the new Sites experience in our Help Center.

If you take no action before September 1, any classic Sites you own are automatically:
  • Downloaded as an archive and saved to your Google Drive.
  • Replaced with a draft in the new Google Sites experience for you to review and publish.

We’ve listened to your feedback, and your top requests are now included in the new Sites experience. You can compare features and functionality between the classic and new experiences and learn about how we’re making Sites easier to use, more collaborative, and optimized for desktop and mobile platforms. We hope to see you on the new Sites experience soon.

Best,

The Google Sites Team

I thought these dates were pushed back. Does this include business sites? Molly

GMB sites are entirely separate from Google Sites so there is no migration involved with them.

Since you're not a Google Workspace user you only have until 31 August 2021 to migrate [you've had four years prior to this however].
