Create page templates
When you save a page as a template, you create a copy of the page that you and others can use to create new custom pages. Simply click the More actions drop-down menu and select Save as page template.
When you create a new page, you'll see all the templates you've saved.
Keep in mind that any content on your page (including text and attachments) gets included by default in the new template. However, if you remove the content from the template after creating a page, the content won't be removed from the page. For example, if you create a page template with a story about your most recent vacation, then create a new page, the story will get included in the new page. But if you later remove the text from the template, your vacation story will still appear on the page.
To change the template for a page, click More actions > Change page template, and select the new template for the page.
Manage your templates
To manage your templates, click More actions > Manage site and select Page templates.
On this page, you can choose to display or hide some or all of the templates. Simply select the checkbox next to each template and click the Show or Hide button. Next time you create a new page, you'll only see the templates you selected to be displayed.
Note: page templates aren't visible to site viewers.
