Auction-time bidding in Search Ads 360 bid strategies

Stop sharing Floodlight conversions with Google Ads

Turn off auction-time bidding or unlink Google Ads manager account
To stop exporting conversions to Google Ads, you must disable auction-time bidding in all of your Search Ads 360 bid strategies. Otherwise, Floodlight conversions will continue to be shared with Google Ads while auction-time bidding is active on any bid strategy in your Search Ads 360 advertiser.

Google Ads manager account

A Google Ads manager account is linked to Search Ads 360 if the account is the direct manager of a Google Ads account that includes campaigns in a Search Ads 360 bid strategy with auction-time bidding.

If Search Ads 360 is unlinked from a Google Ads manager account that had previously accepted the shared Floodlight conversions, the administrative owner of the manager account will continue to be prompted to link the account to Search Ads 360 for auction-time bidding.

  1. Sign in your Google Ads manager account.
  2. Navigate to the "Linked accounts" page.
    1. In the upper right corner, click the Tools icon .
    2. Under "Setup", click Linked accounts.
  3. On the "Search Ads 360" card, click Details.
  4. Click Unlink in the "Action" column of the Search Ads 360 advertiser that you want to disconnect from the manager account.

If you remove a bid strategy for the campaigns in the Google Ads UI, within a few hours, Search Ads 360 will change the strategy back to the Target CPA or Target ROAS previously set by Search Ads 360.

If you don't want the campaign in Search Ads 360 auction-time bidding, in the Search Ads 360 UI, remove the campaign from the portfolio or clear the “Auction-time bidding” checkbox in the bid strategy.
