Inventory management templates have been improved. You can now take advantage of the following features:
- The syntax for text, functions, and inventory attributes in templates has been simplified. Functions and inventory attributes need to be surrounded by brackets []. Everything else can be entered directly into the template. All existing templates have been automatically migrated to the new syntax.
Help center - Download preview. Prior to saving a template, you can download a preview of the first 500,000 items that the template will generate.
Help center - Change history for inventory management templates. Changes made to inventory management templates now show in change history.
Help center - Multi-line paste for ad templates. Using special syntax, you can paste ad copy, including alternative copy, into an ad-template.
Help center - Ad rotation settings. You can now specify ad rotation settings in ad group templates for inventory plans that generate ad groups in AdWords accounts. In campaigns and ad groups that were generated and trafficked to AdWords before this change, AdWords migrated ad rotation settings.

DoubleClick Search no longer displays or manages ad rotation settings for Yahoo Japan accounts (Yahoo Japan recently moved this setting from campaigns to ad groups). Ad groups that you create from DoubleClick Search will use the default Optimize ad rotation setting. You can sign into Yahoo Japan and choose a different ad rotation option.

AdWords ad rotation settings have moved to ad groups. Previously you specified ad rotation settings at the campaign level. If a campaign previously specified the Optimize, Optimize for conversions, or Rotate option, all ad groups in the campaign now specify the Optimize option. If a campaign previously specified the Rotate indefinitely option, all ad groups in the campaign now specify Rotate indefinitely.
