Report on Adobe Analytics data

Add an Adobe Analytics report suite to Search Ads 360

After you link an Adobe Analytics account to your Search Ads 360 advertiser, you can create Adobe Analytics report suites in Search Ads 360.

You can add multiple report suites to Search Ads 360, but all of the report suites must be from the same Adobe Analytics organization. While a Search Ads 360 advertiser can only be linked to a single Adobe Analytics organization, an Adobe Analytics organization can be linked to multiple Search Ads 360 advertisers.

Special permissions required

To add an Adobe Analytics reports suite, you need agency manager or advertiser manager permissions.

How to add an Adobe Analytics report suite

Here's the overall process for adding a report suite to Search Ads 360 (the details are provided later in this article):

  1. In Adobe Analytics, add an eVar to contain the Google click ID.
  2. Select the report suite and specify which eVar contains the Google click ID.

Add an eVar to contain the Google click ID

To attribute visits and other events to your search ads, add a conversion variable (eVar) to each report suite you want to see in Search Ads 360. The new eVar contains the Google click ID for the report suite. This eVar cannot be used to store additional data. That is, you cannot use a List variable to store the Google click ID.

To add a Google click ID eVar to a report suite:

  1. Sign into Adobe Analytics, select a report suite, and add a conversion variable (eVar).

Specify the following values for the eVar's fields:

    • Name: Choose a name that makes the purpose of the eVar clear, such as Google click ID. When setting up a reporting suite in Search Ads 360, you'll see the list of all eVars, and you need to choose the eVar that contains the Google click ID.

    • Type: Text String
The Google click ID is case-sensitive, so make sure your landing page doesn't contain logic that changes the case or alters the click ID in any way.

    • Allocation: Most Recent
Only last click (Most Recent) allocation can be used with Google click ID.

    • Expire After: 60 days

  2. Contact your webmaster or Adobe Analytics support contact to ensure the new eVar captures the Google click ID from the gclid URL parameter when customers land on your site.

    4. Click Apply or press the Enter key.

Search Ads 360 displays the advertiser page, which contains data for all of the advertiser’s engine accounts.

  2. In the left navigation panel, click Advertiser settings.

Don't see Advertiser settings? Only Search Ads 360 agency managers or advertiser managers can see Advertiser settings in the left navigation panel.

  3. Click the Integrations▼ tab and select Adobe Analytics integration.

  4. Click + Report suite, which appears above the reporting table.

  5. From the Report suite in Adobe Analytics list, select a report suite.
The list contains all report suites in the Adobe Analytics account you linked to your Search Ads 360 advertiser.

  6. From the eVar list, select the eVar you added to contain the Google click ID.
The list contains all eVars with an Allocation type set to Most Recent.
  7. Optionally, select the High traffic checkbox if you expect the advertiser to generate more than 500,000 clicks per month.

When you select the High traffic checkbox, Search Ads 360 relies on Adobe Analytics Data Warehouse. As a result, conversion data reporting might be delayed by up to 72 hours. Learn more at Adobe Analytics.
  8. Click Save.
