Displays the type of the Google Ads portfolio bidding strategy, such as Target spend (Maximize Clicks) or Target CPA, that is in effect for an ad group. An ad group may inherit the Google Ads bid strategy from the campaign or the bid strategy may be directly applied to the ad group.
Add this column to a report
- Navigate to a Google Ads account or campaign.
- Click the Ad groups tab.

If the column isn't already in the reporting table:

Click the Columns button above the performance summary graph.

In the Search for columns box, type the column name.

Click + to add the column to the Selected columns list.

Optional. Drag the column where you want it in the list.
- Click Apply.
