Use a bulksheet to set ad display URL option in pharmaceutical ads

Change the ad display URL setting in multiple Google Ads campaigns by uploading a bulksheet. 

You can use a bulksheet to create or edit manual campaigns and specify the ad display URL option.

The overall process for uploading a bulksheet is as follows:

1. Download an editable bulksheet that contains the Google Ads campaigns that you want to update.

2. In the downloaded bulksheet, edit the applicable columns in the campaign rows. 
3. Upload the bulksheet.

    

Download an editable bulksheet

1. Navigate to an advertiser or Google Ads account.

2. Click the Campaigns tab.

3. To identify the campaigns that you want to update in the bulksheet, select the check boxes next to the campaigns or filter the table.
4. Click the download icon , which appears above the reporting table. The following default selections are shown in the download panel:
   • Scope: Current selection in table or Current scope
   • Columns: Editable columns (for re-upload)
   • Include types: Campaigns
   • Filters: Include rows with no impressions 

   You can specify or change the selections, but don't change the Editable columns (for re-upload) and Campaigns options.

5. Click Download.

Search Ads 360 generates the report and either downloads the file to your browser's download directory or sends an email, depending on the delivery option you selected.

If you selected to download a report and the report is very large, it may take a while for Search Ads 360 to generate the report. You can still use Search Ads 360 while the report is generating. A status bar indicates the progress of the report generation. When it's complete, a Download link appears in the status bar. Click the link to download the report.

Set the ad display URL option using a bulksheet

In the downloaded bulksheet, edit the applicable columns specify or change a campaign's ad display URL option. 

1. In the downloaded bulksheet, in a campaign row, specify settings in one or both of the following columns:

   • Display URL option. Specify Ad Display URL or Website Description

   • Website description.  Sets the description phrase that appears in your ads if you specify Website Description in the Display URL option column.

   • Learn more about the bulksheet columns that are required to set the ad display URL option.

2. Optional:  Specify other settings for the campaign.
3. Upload the bulksheet.

    

Ad display URL column settings

Column name	Description
Row Type	Enter campaign. Specifies the type of item that you're creating or editing.
Action	Enter edit to edit a campaign's settings. Enter create to create a new manual campaign.
Campaign	Enter the name of a campaign.
Display URL option	Specifies the ad display URL setting in a campaign. Enter one of the following options in the column: Ad Display URL  Website Description. If you specify this option, you are required to enter one of the 12 pre-defined phrases in the Website description column.
Website description	This column should be blank if Ad Display URL is specified in the Display URL option column.  If the Display URL option column contains Website Description, enter one of the 12 pre-defined options in this (Website description) column: Prescription treatment website Prescription device website Medical device website Preventative treatment website Prescription contraception website Prescription vaccine website Sitio de tratamientos con receta Sitio de dispositivos con receta Sitio de dispositivos médicos Sitio de tratamientos preventivos Sitio de anticonceptivos con receta Sitio de vacunas con receta  The website descriptions are shown exactly as they will appear in your ads. The website descriptions aren't translated. That is, if your ad appears in French, the website description remains in English or Spanish.
