Create and report on Google Ads dynamic search ads in Search Ads 360

Use a bulksheeet to create Google Ads dynamic ad groups in Search Ads 360

The overall process for creating and uploading dynamic ad groups in Search Ads 360:

  1. Download an editable report (bulksheet) that contains Google Ads campaigns that are set up for Dynamic Search Ads.
  2. In the downloaded bulksheet, create dynamic ad groups and apply them to the campaigns.
  3. Upload the bulksheet.

The process for using a bulksheet to create standard ad groups in Google Ads campaigns is similar to the process for creating dynamic ad groups.

Download a report that contains Google Ads campaigns

  1. Navigate to a Google Ads engine account.

Steps for navigating to an engine account
    1. In the left navigation panel, click All accounts.
What if the left navigation pane isn't visible?

    2. Click the navigation bar to display navigation options.

    3. In the "Agency" list, click on the agency that contains the advertiser. You can search for an agency by name or scroll through the list.

    4. In the "Advertiser" list, click on the advertiser that contains the engine account.

    5. In the "Account" list, click on the engine account.

    6. Click Apply or press the Enter key.

Search Ads 360 displays the engine account page.

  2. Click the Campaigns tab.

  3. Add the DSA enabled column to the report.

    1. Click the Columns button.
    2. In the Search for columns box, enter DSA enabled.
    3.  Click + to add the column to the Selected columns list.
    4. Click Apply.
  4. Do either of the following to select DSA-enabled campaigns that you want to update:

    • Select the checkbox next to the DSA-enabled campaigns.
    • Filter the table to display only the DSA-enabled that you want.
  5. Above the reporting table, click the download icon Download icon.

  6. In the Download report panel, under Include types, the Campaigns check box is selected by default.

Select the Ad groups check box.

  7. Select any of the other options that you want. However, it's not necessary to change the pre-selected options. For example, under Columns, don't change the Editable columns (for re-upload) selection.

  8. Click Download.

Search Ads 360 generates the report and either downloads the file to your browser's download directory or sends an email, depending on the delivery option you selected.

If you selected to download a report and the report is very large, it may take a while for Search Ads 360 to generate the report. You can still use Search Ads 360 while the report is generating. A status bar indicates the progress of the report generation. When it's complete, a Download link appears in the status bar. Click the link to download the report.

Create dynamic ad groups in campaigns

In the downloaded report/bulksheet:

  1. Copy an existing ad group row to a blank row.

  2. In each new ad group row, edit the information in the ad group columns. For example, in the Ad group type column, enter Dynamic.

You don't need to remove the Ad group ID column in a copied row. Search Ads 360 will create an ID for the new ad group.
  3. Save the bulksheet and then upload it into Search Ads 360.
