Set a conversion goal in a campaign

View the bid adjustments set or recommended with a conversion goal

Google Ads location and remarketing targets only
In the previous Search Ads 360, advertisers can configure campaigns to optimize with adaptive
and bid adjustments features using a conversion goal. This feature is no longer available in the new
Search Ads 360 and therefore is being deprecated starting February 1, 2023.
  1. Navigate to a Google Ads account.
    Steps for navigating to an engine account
    1. In the left navigation panel, click All accounts.
      What if the left navigation pane isn't visible?

    2. Click the navigation bar to display navigation options.

    3. In the "Agency" list, click on the agency that contains the advertiser. You can search for an agency by name or scroll through the list.

    4. In the "Advertiser" list, click on the advertiser that contains the engine account.

    5. In the "Account" list, click on the engine account.

    6. Click Apply or press the Enter key.

    Search Ads 360 displays the engine account page.

  2. Click the Targets ▼ tab and then select one of the following:
    • Location targets
    • Remarketing targets
  3. View the Bid adjustment % column to see the bid adjustments set by a conversion goal.
  4. View the Recommended bid adjustment % column to see the conversion goal's recommendation.
  5. Optional. Use the recommended bid adjustment. To apply a recommendation, in the device's bid adjustment column (for example, in the Bid adjustment % column) click the pencil icon  to enter the suggested amount and click Save.
Even though a conversion goal uses Google Analytics or Floodlight conversions to set or recommend remarketing target bid adjustments, Search Ads 360 remarketing target reports will only include metrics for Floodlight conversions. Reporting on remarketing targets with Google Analytics isn't supported.
