Set or edit Google Ads device bid adjustments in bulk

Add or edit device targets for multiple campaigns and ad groups
  1. Navigate to a Google Ads account or campaign.
    Steps for navigating to an engine account
    1. In the left navigation panel, click All accounts.
      What if the left navigation pane isn't visible?

    2. Click the navigation bar to display navigation options.

    3. In the "Agency" list, click on the agency that contains the advertiser. You can search for an agency by name or scroll through the list.

    4. In the "Advertiser" list, click on the advertiser that contains the engine account.

    5. In the "Account" list, click on the engine account.

    6. Click Apply or press the Enter key.

    Steps for navigating to a campaign
    1. In the left navigation panel, click All accounts.

    2. Click the navigation bar to display navigation options.

    3. In the "Agency" list, click on the agency that contains the advertiser. You can search for an agency by name or scroll through the list.

    4. In the "Advertiser" list, click on the advertiser that contains the engine account.

    5. In the "Account" list, click on the engine account that contains the campaign.
    6. In the "Campaign" list, click on the campaign.

    7. Click Apply or press the Enter key.

    Search Ads 360 displays the campaign page.

  2. Do one of the following:
    • Select the checkbox next to each campaign or ad group that you want to edit.

    • Filter the reporting table so it contains only the campaigns or ad groups that you want to edit.

  3. Above the reporting table, click Edit ▼, and then click Change device bid adjustment %.
  4. Under Device type, click the arrow ▼, and then click one of the following:
    • Mobile
    • Tablet
    • Desktop
  5. Under the device type bid adjustment %, select one of the following settings:
    • Increase to and enter a percentage
    • Decrease to and enter a percentage
    • No bid adjustment
    • Add to current adjustment % and enter a percentage
    • Subtract from current adjustment % and enter a percentage
    • Set to formula column and select a formula
    • Use campaign bid adjustment (ad groups only)
  6. Optional. Schedule the change.
  7. Click Save.

Bid adjustment settings

Setting  Description
Increase to

Sets a device bid adjustment for the selected campaigns or ad groups to the percentage specified. Enter a percent between 1% and 900%.

For example, if you specify increase to 35% for desktop in a campaign, the desktop bid adjustment for the campaign is 35%.

Decrease to

Sets a device bid adjustment for the selected campaigns or ad groups to the percentage specified. Enter a percent between -90% and -1% (-91% to -99% are excluded). 

Specify 100% if you don't want ads to appear on the device. The minus sign is not required.

For example, to set the mobile bid adjustment for selected ad groups to -90%, you would specify decrease to 90%.

No bid adjustment Sets a device bid adjustment for the selected campaigns or ad groups to 0% indicating that the bid to target the device should be the same as the keyword bid. 
Add to current adjustment %

Adds the specified percentage to a device bid adjustment. For example, if you add 20% to a tablet bid adjustment that is currently 80%, the tablet bid adjustment will be 100%.

Subtract from current adjustment % Decreases the specified percentage from a device bid adjustment. For example, if you subtract 20% from a tablet bid adjustment that is currently 100%, the tablet bid adjustment will be 80%.
Set to formula column Sets a device bid adjustment to the amount calculated in a formula column.
Use campaign bid adjustment (ad groups only) Sets a device bid adjustment in an ad group to inherit the campaign's device bid adjustment.
