Edit landing page URLs for keywords

Search Ads 360 provides a few different ways to change landing page URLs for keywords in manual campaigns:

  • Manually edit URLs one at a time
Manual edits take effect immediately. If you want to schedule an edit to occur at a specific time, or to occur on a regular basis, use one of the other techniques described below.

  • Search and replace all or part of the URLs for a group of keywords

  • Append to the end of the URL for a group of keywords

  • Replace the current URL for a selected group of keywords with a single new URL

If your keyword URLs are long, or your edits are complicated, use a bulksheet.

Manually edit keyword URLs one at a time

  1. Navigate to an advertiser, engine account, or lower scope.

  2. Click the Keywords tab.

  3. Optionally use a filter to display just the keywords you want to edit.

  4. Add the Landing page column to the reporting table:
    1. Above the performance summary graph, click the Columns button.

    2. Next to Available columns, type the column name in the search box and press the Enter key.

    3. Click + next to the column name in the Available columns list.

  5. In the Landing page column, click the edit icon Pencil (edit) icon .

  6. Change the URL that appears in the editor. Then click Save.

Search Ads 360 changes the landing page URL immediately.

In engine accounts that don't support shared templates, you can add the Effective landing page column to see how the landing page URL will appear after Search Ads 360 has applied any URL templates.

In accounts with shared templates, you'll need to wait until Search Ads 360 traffics your change before you can confirm that URL templates are applied correctly to the updated URL.

Search and replace keyword URLs

  1. Navigate to an advertiser, engine account, or lower scope.

  2. Click the Keywords tab.

  3. Optionally add the Landing page column to the reporting table so you can see the current URLs.

  4. Specify the keywords you want to edit.

By default, the edit operation will include all of the keywords in the current scope. For example, if you navigate to an ad group, click the Keywords tab, and start a search and replace, all of the ad group's keywords will be included.

To specify a smaller group of keywords, do one of the following:
    1. Select the check boxes next to the specific keywords you want to edit.
    2. Create a filter that displays just the keywords you want to edit.
  5. Click Edit▼ above the reporting table and select Find/Replace in Landing Page

  6. In Find, enter the part of the URL that you want to change.

    Note the following:

    • Find and replace does not support wildcards or regular expressions.
Search Ads 360 only finds the exact string that you enter.

    • By default, find and replace is case-sensitive. To make the operation case-insensitive, remove the checkbox next to Match case.
  7. In Replace with, enter the replacement text.
Search Ads 360 only replaces the string you specify in Find with the string you specify in Replace with. The rest of the URL remains unchanged.

  8. To run the operation immediately, click Save.
