View generated product groups

When you enable automated subdivision, Search Ads 360 adds the Auto generated column to the Product groups tab. The column indicates if a product group was created by Search Ads 360 automatically subdividing the group's parent. To see a list of all auto-generated product groups, scope to the campaign level or higher and filter the Product groups tab:

  1. Navigate to the shopping campaign.
Note that you'll need to navigate to the campaign, not the ad group. Filtering is not available for ad groups in a Shopping campaign.

Steps for navigating to a campaign
    1. In the left navigation panel, click All accounts.
What if the left navigation pane isn't visible?

    2. Click the navigation bar to display navigation options.

    3. In the "Agency" list, click on the agency that contains the advertiser. You can search for an agency by name or scroll through the list.

    4. In the "Advertiser" list, click on the advertiser that contains the engine account.

    5. In the "Account" list, click on the engine account that contains the campaign.
    6. In the "Campaign" list, click on the campaign.

    7. Click Apply or press the Enter key.

Search Ads 360 displays the campaign page.

  2. Click the Targets▼ tab, and then click Product groups.

  3. Create a filter that matches only product groups with the Auto generated attribute set to Yes.
The Product groups tab now displays only auto-generated product groups.

Remove generated product groups

If you don't want to keep a subdivision, you can remove it. However, Search Ads 360 may regenerate the subdivision later if products in the group continue to exhibit unique performance characteristics.
