New and updated date functions for formula columns
A formula column applies spreadsheet-like functions to data from existing DS columns. The following functions are new date-related functions:
- day(date): Returns the 1 or 2-digit day of the month from the specified date.
- Date subtraction: Specify the - (minus) operator to calculate the number of days between two dates.
- month(date): Returns the 1 or 2-digit month from the specified date.
- weekday(date, [week_start_day]): Returns the day of the week (1 through 7) for the specified date.
- weeknum(date, [week_start_day]): Returns the week number (1 through 52, 53, or 54) for the specified date.
- year(date): Returns the 4-digit year from the specified date.
The following date functions previously could only be specified as a parameter in the for_date_range function. But now they can be used in other functions or on their own:
- date(year, month, date): Returns a specific date in the advertiser’s time zone.
- today(): Returns today's date in the advertiser’s time zone.
- yesterday(): Returns yesterday’s date in the advertiser’s time zone.

Target mobile devices and tablets with Bing Ads
Bing Ads has completed its final migration of campaigns to Unified Device Targeting. Now all campaigns and ad groups target all device types. The default bid you enter applies to desktop computers. You can set separate bid adjustments to target mobile devices and tablets. This allows you to increase or decrease every bid in your campaign or ad group to bid more or less competitively for searches occurring on mobile devices and tablets. Learn more.
