Beginning September 25, 2019, advanced configuration is no longer available when creating a new bid strategy. Existing bid strategies with advanced configuration are not affected by this change.
In the Advanced Configuration section of the Search Ads 360 bid strategy editor:
- Conversions bid strategies apply a startup learning behavior to brand new keywords without performance history. If needed, you can adjust the startup learning behavior by changing the temporary position constraint.
- The option to Ensure keywords with low conversion ratios will get some traffic controls how Search Ads 360 deals with low-performing keywords. Learn more.
Please note that if you select a position constraint under Constraints, this option will no longer apply and is not available. Search Ads 360 will keep all keywords within the position range specified in the Constraints section.
Make any changes needed and click Save Bid Strategy.
Next steps:
Apply the bid strategy to some campaigns, ad groups, or specific biddable items.
After you apply a bid strategy, you can monitor bid strategy performance.
