About callout extensions in Search Ads 360

Callout extensions show additional descriptive text in your Google Ads ads. They give you the opportunity to promote popular or unique aspects of your business.

For example, you can use a callout extension to add "Free shipping", "24-7 customer service", and "Price matching" to your ads:

You can create callout extensions in Google Ads and then sync them into Search Ads 360, or create callout extensions in Search Ads 360 and take advantage of Search Ads 360 features that enable you to scale up your campaign management, such as creating and editing with bulksheets. You can set up the extensions to be inherited by all campaigns and ad groups in the engine account, or you can:

  • Use specific callout extensions in a campaign or ad group
  • Prevent specific campaigns or ad groups from displaying callout extensions

After you set up callout extensions, you can report on performance metrics sent from Google Ads to Search Ads 360, such as clicks on ads that show callout extensions.
