Troubleshoot issues with resuming an account

Error: Search Ads 360 can’t resume this account.  Please check your credentials before performing this task.

Possible causes and solutions

 

  • Cause: For Bing Ads accounts only. Search Ads 360 can't resume the Bing Ads engine account because the timezone is not specified in the account.

    Solution: You can’t add the timezone for the Bing Ads account in Search Ads 360. You'll need to sign in to your Bing Ads account and then go to the Account and Billings page to add the timezone for the account.

 

Check authorization status for all engine accounts for the advertiser

  1. Navigate to an advertiser.

    1. Click the navigation bar to display navigation options.

    2. In the "Agency" list, click on the agency that contains the advertiser. You can search for an agency by name or scroll through the list.

    3. In the "Advertiser" list, click on the advertiser.

    4. Click Apply or press the Enter key.

    Search Ads 360 displays the advertiser page, which contains data for all of the advertiser’s engine accounts.

  2. Click the Engine accounts tab.

    If the Authorization status column displays --- (dashes), Search Ads 360 doesn't check authorization.

Verify engine account access

Google Ads

You are required to link Search Ads 360 with the Google Ads customer ID.

Bing Ads

Search Ads 360 must be authorized to access your Bing Ads engine account.

  1. Navigate to an advertiser.

    1. Click the navigation bar to display navigation options.

    2. In the "Agency" list, click on the agency that contains the advertiser. You can search for an agency by name or scroll through the list.

    3. In the "Advertiser" list, click on the advertiser.

    4. Click Apply or press the Enter key.

    Search Ads 360 displays the advertiser page, which contains data for all of the advertiser’s engine accounts.

  2. Click the Engine accounts tab.
  3. Select the checkbox for the Bing Ads account, click Edit, and then click Edit details.
  4. The Engine details section displays a message about the authorization status of the account. Follow the instructions in the section.

Yahoo! Japan

The password for your Yahoo! Japan account is incorrect.

  1. Navigate to an advertiser.

    1. Click the navigation bar to display navigation options.

    2. In the "Agency" list, click on the agency that contains the advertiser. You can search for an agency by name or scroll through the list.

    3. In the "Advertiser" list, click on the advertiser.

    4. Click Apply or press the Enter key.

    Search Ads 360 displays the advertiser page, which contains data for all of the advertiser’s engine accounts.

  2. Click the Engine accounts tab.
  3. Select the checkbox for the Yahoo! Japan account, click Edit, and then click Edit details.
  4. In the Engine details section, verify that your Yahoo! Japan account ID and Application account ID are correct.
  5. In Application account password, type your password for the Yahoo! Japan account.
  6. Click Save.

Baidu

Your Baidu password has changed or your Baidu API token has been regenerated.

Complete the following steps to enter your new password or token.

  1. Navigate to an advertiser.

    2. In the "Agency" list, click on the agency that contains the advertiser. You can search for an agency by name or scroll through the list.

    3. In the "Advertiser" list, click on the advertiser.

    4. Click Apply or press the Enter key.

    Search Ads 360 displays the advertiser page, which contains data for all of the advertiser’s engine accounts.

  2. Click the Engine accounts tab.
  3. Select the checkbox for the Baidu account, click Edit, and then click Edit details.
  4. The Engine details section, type your new password or Account API token, and then click Save.

Yahoo! Gemini

The engine account ID may have changed or the user ID is incorrect. Learn more about how to authorize a Yahoo! Gemini account.
Before you can reauthorize the account, verify the Yahoo! Gemini account ID and your Yahoo! Gemini credentials.
  1. Navigate to an advertiser.

    1. Click the navigation bar to display navigation options.

    2. In the "Agency" list, click on the agency that contains the advertiser. You can search for an agency by name or scroll through the list.

    3. In the "Advertiser" list, click on the advertiser.

    4. Click Apply or press the Enter key.

    Search Ads 360 displays the advertiser page, which contains data for all of the advertiser’s engine accounts.

  2. Click the Engine accounts tab.
  3. Select the check box for the Yahoo! Gemini account, click Edit, and then click Edit details.
  4. In the External engine account ID section, click the Reauthorize button.
  5. When prompted, enter your Yahoo! Gemini username and password. Click Agree in the confirmation message.
    If you don't see a prompt, pop ups may be blocked by your browser.  Be sure to allow the pop-up.
  6. Close the Successfully linked to your account pop-up window.

  7. In Search Ads 360, click Save.
