Cost with extension showing column

Displays the total fees for clicking on ads that were showing an ad extension, as reported by Google Ads.

Note that this column does not display the total cost in the report's summary row or performance summary graph. Because the column includes cost from clicks on any part of an ad when a particular ad extension was showing, the number in an individual row may include cost from clicks on other extensions that currently appear in the report. If the summary row or graph added these two individual rows together, cost from some of the clicks would be counted twice and the summary amount would be inflated.

Add this column to a report
  1. Navigate to a Google Ads engine account, campaign, or ad group.

  2. Click the Extensions ▼ tab and select a type of extension, such as Location extensions.

  3. If the column isn't already in the reporting table:
    1. Click the Columns button above the performance summary graph.
    2. Next to Available columns, type the column name in the search box and press the Enter key.
    3. Click + next to the column name in the Available columns list.
    4. Click Apply.
