Use Google Ads remarketing lists in Search Ads 360

Pause, resume, or remove a Google Ads remarketing target

Even though you can pause bid-only remarketing targets in Search Ads 360, the status isn't trafficked because Google Ads doesn't support pausing these targets. You can pause members-only remarketing targets.

Change the status of a campaign remarketing target

  1. Navigate to a Google Ads engine account or campaign.

  2. Click the Targets ▼ tab, and then click Remarketing targets.

  3. Click the Campaign remarketing targets tab.

  4. In the remarketing target's row, next to the check box, hover on the status icon, and then click the arrow ▼ to display the following options:
    • Active  Use to reactivate the remarketing target.
    • Paused Use to temporarily stop targeting remarketing list members.
    • Removed. Removes the remarketing target from the campaign.
Alternately, you can click Remove above the reporting table to remove a remarketing target.
Campaign remarketing targets can only be removed one at a time.

You can't reactivate a remarketing target after you remove it. You can only reapply the remarketing list.

Change the status of an ad group remarketing target

  1. Navigate to a Google Ads engine accountcampaign, or ad group.

  2. Click the Ad group remarketing targets tab.

  3. In the reporting table, select the check box next to one or more ad group remarketing targets.
  4. Click Edit ▼, and then click Pause, Resume, or Remove
