Compare performance to past performance

If you want to compare metrics between a time range and a period in the past:

1. After you select a time range for your chart, select Compare to past, which appears below the time range.

2. Select the past period.

Note that if you are comparing to past performance, you cannot add segments to a pie chart, and you can only add one additional segment to other types of charts. This is to prevent reports from becoming too complicated. If the report legend is too large to display all at once, Search Ads 360 will add buttons for scrolling through the legend.

See an example

For example, to compare last quarter's performance to the same quarter in the previous year:

1. Select a time range of Last quarter.

2. Select Compare to past and select Same period previous year.

3. If you want to see data broken out for each month, click Add segmentation. Then select Month from the new segmentation list.

4. To scroll through the report legend, click the right arrow next to 1/2.
