Stop using the Screenwise Meter browser extension on your computer

Uninstalling the Screenwise Meter browser extension is similar to uninstalling most browser extensions or add-ons.

Chrome

1. In Chrome, click the menu icon in the top right.
2. Click More tools > Extensions.
3. On the Screenwise Meter extension, click Remove. A notice to remove the extension pops up.
4. Click Remove.

Firefox

1. Open your browser's settings menu and click Add-ons.
2. In the Extensions tab, click Remove in the Screenwise Meter section.

Edge

1. On your desktop, click Start > Control Panel > Programs > Programs and Features.
2. Select the Google Screenwise toolbar to uninstall.

Internet Explorer

1. Open Internet Explorer,
2. Click Tools.
3. Click Manage add-ons.
4. Under Show, click All add-ons.
5. Choose the Screenwise Meter add-on.
6. Click Remove.
7. Click Close.

Safari

1. Open the Safari browser
2. Open the Safari menu
3. Select Preferences
4. Select Extensions
5. Select Screenwise Meter from the extensions list
6. Click Uninstall
7. Click Show in Finder in the dialog to find the extension app
8. Right click on Screenwise in the Finder window and select Move to Trash
