We recommend that you set up the mobile app and the browser extension.The meters reduce extra steps to check in so you can use your device like usual.
If you aren't using the Screenwise Meter mobile app or browser extension, you can follow these steps instead:
Sign in
To set up or restart the Screenwise Router:
- With your panelist email, sign in to the Screenwise Router page.
- Choose if you’re using a shared or personal device.
- Select your name or "Guest."
You can now browse the internet.
When to check in as a panelist or guest
When the router is checked in as guest, no info is collected about what you're looking at on the internet. General diagnostic info about the operation and quality of the Screenwise Router might be collected.
Panelists can decide whether to check in or use guest. When you're done using guest, choose the name of the panelist who'susing the internet.
Use guest for these people when they use the internet:
- Visitors to the household
- Household members younger than 13 using the internet without any panelists
- Anyone in the household that isn't a panelist
Change the network name or Wi-Fi password
You might want to change these for security reasons. Learn to create a strong password.
- Sign in to the Screenwise Router page.
- Enter the router admin password that you created when you set up the router.
- At the bottom, tap Settings.
- Select the Network you use.
- At the top right, tap Edit .
- Update to the desired WiFi Name and Password.
- At the top right, tap the blue checkmark.
- After your router saves your updates, you might have to reconnect to the new network name.
Change the router admin password
To change either the Wifi or admin password:
- Sign in to the Screenwise Router page.
- For Wifi password, go to Wifi Wifi networks tab.
- For admin password, go to Maintenance Change password.
- With your new password, sign in again to the Screenwise Router page.
