Create a new experiment

You can create experiments with Science Journal from any device. Your Library contains all of your experiments. Each experiment has its own feed that consists of cards. Cards represent text notes, recordings, and photos.

Start a new experiment

To start a new experiment, tap the Plus button  at the bottom right of the screen. 

Name your experiment

From the experiment

1. Tap Edit at the top right of the screen. 
2. Tap Experiment Title to rename the title of your experiment.
3. Once you’re done, tap Check  at the top of the screen to save your changes.
4. To discard any changes, tap Close  at the top left of the screen.

Change the cover photo for your experiment

From the experiment

1. Tap the experiment you want to edit.
2. Tap Edit  at the top right of the screen.
3. Tap Change Photo.
4. Choose a photo from your gallery or take a picture from your camera.
5. Tap Check  at the bottom of the screen.
6. Once you’re done, tap Check  at the top of the screen to save your changes.
7. To discard any changes, tap Close  at the top left of your screen.
