Follow Santa using Santa Tracker

You can play games, keep an eye on the elves in Santa’s Workshop and see where Santa is as he travels across the world.

Follow Santa every day in December and play new games or see new scenes until December 25th, 2015. 

How to track Santa

There are a few ways to follow Santa:

  • On the Santa Tracker website
  • With the Google Chrome extension
  • On your TV with Chromecast
  • On your Android phone or tablet
  • An Android Wear watch face

Install Santa Tracker

Chrome browser
  1. Visit Chrome Web Store.
  2. On the top left, search for Santa Tracker.
  3. Click Add to Chrome.
Android phone or tablet

To install from your tablet:

  1. On Google Play, open Santa Tracker.
  2. Click Install.

To install from your phone:

  1. Open Google Play Google Play app.
  2. Search for Santa Tracker.
  3. Touch Install.
  4. Touch Accept & download.
Chromecast

To track Santa on your TV with Chromecast:

  1. On your phone or tablet, download the Santa Tracker app.
  2. Open the Santa Tracker app.
  3. Click Cast Chromecast button
If it connects, the Cast button will turn blue.

Check for new scenes

You can help Santa’s elves get ready by playing games, learning new things, or watching videos.

Every day from December 1 to 25, 2015, a new scene appears. Here’s how to check for new scenes:

Computer
  1. Visit Santa Tracker.
  2. In the village, choose a scene.
  3. Click Play Play
Phone or tablet
  1. Open the Santa Tracker app
  2. Scroll to find games
  3. Click Play.

To exit:

  1. Touch Pause Pause
  2. Touch Exit Exit

Use Cardboard to play games

First, learn how get and install Cardboard.

After you have Cardboard set up, visit Santa’s village on your device.

Tip: To exit Cardboard on your phone, touch the back button.

Follow Santa on the map

You can see where Santa is on his journey using Google Maps on your computer or phone. While Santa travels, explore each location he visits, see his next destination, and watch him fly around the world.

Computer

Google Maps shows Santa’s position as he travels the world. You can see:

  • Santa’s current location
  • Places that Santa has visited

At the top left, from the navigation menu, you can:

  1. Visit the village or location view
  2. Switch to Google Earth by clicking the tab.

Tips to follow Santa:

  • From the village, you can see Santa’s current and next location. You can also see how many presents he’s delivered and his current status.
  • While looking at a specific location, click the tabs at the bottom to see photos and other information. To share the location, copy the URL from the browser’s address bar.
  • When you look at all the places Santa has visited, you can see pushpins for every location.
Phone or tablet

You can follow Santa on your phone or tablet when he leaves to travel the world on December 24.

  1. On your phone, open Google Maps Google Maps
  2. At the top, search santa to see his location.
  3. To update Santa’s location, search again.
