Optimizing your keywords is crucial for campaign success. You can improve keyword performance by adjusting their match types, bids, and by adding or removing keywords. For instance, increasing bids for high-performing keywords and decreasing bids for those not leading to sales can enhance your campaign's return on investment. If your ads aren't getting enough impressions or clicks, reviewing and refining your keywords is a key troubleshooting step. Performance data, especially after a campaign has been active for some time, will reveal which keywords are effective and which ones need adjustment.

How to edit keywords
- Sign in to your Search Ads 360 account.
- Select Keywords in the page menu on the left, then select Search keywords. For Google Display Network campaigns, select Display/Video keywords.
- Find the keyword you want to edit.
- To edit the keyword itself:
- Click the pencil icon
next to the keyword.
- Make your edits, and click Save.
- To make other changes:
- Check the box next to the keywords you want to edit.
- Click Edit, then select an option from the menu.
- For changes other than enabling, pausing, or removing keywords: make your changes, then click Apply.
- You can also click Preview to see your changes before applying them.
- If you want to change the bid, click the pencil icon
next to the amount in the “Max. CPC” column.
