Switch between account types in Search Ads 360

This article shows you how to navigate between different accounts in Search Ads 360. For more general background about account structure, read About Search Ads 360 manager accounts

Check which account you’re viewing

The navigation menu shows shows a chain of account names starting with the manager account (visible only if you're signed in at the manager level) and ending with the client account you’re currently viewing.

1 Chain of account names in the breadcrumb.

For example, if signed in to a manager account and you're currently viewing a Google Ads client account, you'll see something like this:
Demo agency > Hooper's Store >
 Hoopers - Google Ads 123-45-6789

If you're signed in to a sub-manager account, you'll see something like this:
Hooper's Store >
 Hoopers - Google Ads 123-45-6789

Manager account, sub-manager account, or client account?

In the account list, client accounts are always preceded by a product icon:
 Hoopers - Google Ads 123-45-6789
 Hoopers - Microsoft Advertising 345-45-8900

Manager and sub-manager accounts are not associated with a product icon:
Hooper's Store 0987-54-321

Navigate to another account

In your manager account, there are multiple ways to navigate to sub-manager accounts and client accounts.

If you have access to more than one manager account (known as an agency in the previous Search Ads 360), you’re required to sign in to each manager account in the new Search Ads 360. In the previous experience, your Search Ads 360 account enables you to switch between the agency accounts that you have access to.

In the navigation menu

Click the down arrow to view the list of sub-manager and client accounts. Then click the name of a sub-manager account or a client account.

List of accounts in the top bar

In the account list, you can do any of the following:

1 Search for sub-manager and client accounts by name
2 Browse sub-manager and client accounts

In the Account page

The account table in list view

In the account list on the Performance tab, you can do any of the following:

1 Click a name in the Account column
2 If you're scoped to a manager account, the "List view" button appears above the table. This indicates that the table only shows accounts that are directly contained by the current account. To see the full hierarchy of manager, sub-manager, and client accounts, click List view, which changes the table into "Hierarchy view".
