Rule differences in the new Search Ads 360

In the new Search Ads 360, scheduled edits are now referred to as 'rules'. A rule consists of a condition or a set of conditions that causes a desired action to be taken on specified data in your account. You can set up rules to make changes to your ad status, budget, bids and other aspects of your account.

The feature's usability is further enhanced by the implementation of important updates.

Update category Specific change
Frequency at which the rule runs Hourly frequency for rules can be set in the new Search Ads 360.
Scope of advanced rules Advanced rules can include multiple actions and conditions in the same rule, together with new filtering dynamics.
Rule actions New options are added to rule actions like 'Change campaign group'.
