Report on sold products

Once you have set up Conversions with Cart Data reporting, you can report on the performance of purchased groups of products, products, and product attributes.

How it works

To group related products, you can use categories from your Google Merchant Center (GMC) feed, such as Brand or Category. For example, you can assign products in the GMC feed to the “Cameras”, “Binoculars”, and “Telescopes” categories and compare the performance of each category.

Instructions to report on sold products

  1. Open Report Editor.
  2. Create a custom report.
  3. Add dimensions from the “Shopping Attributes” category to the “Row” section:

For example, to organize the data by brand, select Brand sold.

  4. Add metrics from the “Conversions with Cart Data” category to the “Column” section:

For example, to view data on the number of units sold, select Units sold.

  5. (Optional) Change the time range or add filters to narrow down the scope of your report.

Why am I seeing dashes ( – ) in the report?

If you see a dash in a dimension column, it could be for the following reasons:

  • The GMC feed does not have data for a product
  • The GMC feed does not have data for a specific product attribute
  • The SKU in the ID field of the Floodlight tag doesn’t exactly match a SKU in the Merchant Center feed

If you see a dash in a row column, it could be for the following reasons:

  • The Floodlight tag sent invalid or incorrectly formatted data in the quantity or price fields for a product
