Scope a change history report

Scope your account history report by account level

If you're scoped to a sub-manager account, the change history report lists all tracked changes that occurred in the advertiser and its entities during a specified date range. Customise your results to see all changes saved to multiple accounts, at different account levels, by clicking Account saved to. When selecting a report to view, remember that Account saved to: This account is in relation to your scope, so if you are scoped to a sub-manager, Account saved to: This account is the sub-manager account. If you are scoped to a client account, then Account saved to: This account is the client account. To see all changes for all the sub-accounts and their entities (for example, campaigns/ad groups), click This account and All sub-accounts. To see changes for one or more specific accounts, click Account selected.

By default, the change history report lists changes made to all items within a specified scope and date range.

To reduce the amount of information shown, you can scope and filter the report to a specific account, campaign, ad group or bid strategy.

  1. ​​Navigate to a sub-manager, client account, campaign or ad group to scope the report.
  2. Select a time range.
  3. In the Page menu, click Change history.
  4. Click Add filter in the table toolbar.
  5. Select the attribute that you want. For example, click Change type.
  6. Select the option that matches any of the criteria that you want to filter by.
  7. Click Apply.
