Reporting data freshness and history FAQs

Data freshness

How fresh is the reporting data in the new Search Ads 360?

The new Search Ads 360 typically updates reporting data according to the following schedule:

  • For data collected from advertising platforms, the expected data freshness depends on the platform:
    • Google Ads data is updated in less than 2 hours.
    • Other advertising platform data (including Baidu, Microsoft Advertising, and Yahoo! JAPAN Ads) is updated every 2 hours. This happens after the advertising platform finishes tabulating the results and exposing the data in their respective APIs.
  • Impression share and Microsoft Advertising Quality score data can take up to 48 hours to update in the new Search Ads 360. This means that Quality score charts and tables may not include data for the last 2 days in a time range that includes the current date. Note that the advertising platform has a built-in delay to collect this data, which occurs before it can be downloaded by Search Ads 360.
  • Floodlight conversion data will typically be fresh within 6 hours (after you refresh your browser window or change pages). Online, click-through conversions using last click attribution models may be processed more quickly with most arriving within 2 hours. Conversions that leverage data driven attribution and non-last click models still require conversion processing time to accurately calculate and distribute fractional credit across various customer journey touchpoints.
Note that some custom columns might require data from Floodlight activities and the advertising platforms. In these cases, the data freshness would depend on the type of platform. The cross-device component of your Floodlight conversions will be available in the UI the following day. This is to allow for sufficient model evaluation.
  • Metrics from Google Analytics: If you've linked your sub-manager account to a Google Analytics web property, data will be processed by Search Ads 360 within 6 hours. However, the expected delay is 24-48 hours for audience trigger events.
  • Offline conversions (including Adobe Analytics data) and delayed and edited conversions will display within 6 hours.

    Keep the following in mind:

    • While the new Search Ads 360 reporting data will come close to matching the advertising platform data, it may not be an exact match.
    • During heavy volumes, the new Search Ads 360 reporting data freshness can vary.
    • Segmented reports may not be as up to date as unsegmented reports. Typically it can take up to 24 hours for geographic area data to appear in reports.
