Create, use, and manage labels in the new Search Ads 360

Labels allow you to organize your campaigns, ad groups, ads, and keywords into groups. Labels are customizable, and you can change them at any time.

Before you begin

If you’re not familiar with how labels work, learn more About ads labels.

Create and apply a label

  1. Sign in to your new Search Ads 360.
  2. In the left page menu, click Campaigns, Ad groups, Ads, or Keywords.
  3. Select the checkbox for the campaign, ad group, ad, or keyword that you want to apply a label to.
  4. In the bar above the table, click Label.
  5. To create a new label, select Create label from the dropdown.
    1. Enter a name, choose a color, choose an owner, and add a description (optional).
    2. Click Create.
    3. Click Apply.
  6. To apply existing labels, select the checkboxes for the labels you’d like to add and click Apply.

To apply labels to multiple campaigns, ad groups, ads, or keywords, select the checkbox next to the items in step 3 and use the Label dropdown to apply one or more labels.

Remove a label

  1. Sign in to your new Search Ads 360.
  2. In the left page menu, click Campaigns, Ad groups, Ads, or Keywords.
  3. Select the checkbox for the campaign, ad group, ad, or keyword you want to remove a label from.
  4. In the bar above the table, click Label.
  5. Clear the checkbox for each label you want to remove.
  6. Click Apply.

Note: In the new Search Ads 360 you cannot remove labels in bulk.

Filter table data by label

  1. Sign in to your new Search Ads 360.
  2. In the left page menu, click Campaigns, Ad groups, Ads, or Keywords.
  3. Above the table, click the Add filter button.
  4. In the dropdown, click to expand the Attributes section.
    • Alternatively, type “label” in the search bar.
  5. Select one of the following label filters:
    • Label (All)
    • Label (Cascaded)
    • Label (Directly Applied)
  6. Click Apply.

The updated table shows only those items that match your filter.

Edit label details

  1. Sign in to your new Search Ads 360.
  2. In the left page menu, click Campaigns, Ad groups, Ads, or Keywords.
  3. Select the checkbox for the item whose label you want to edit.
  4. In the bar above the table, click Label.
  5. Hover your cursor over the label, then click the pencil icon to edit.
  6. Change the label’s name, color, and description.
  7. Click Save.

Delete a label

  1. Sign in to your new Search Ads 360.
  2. In the left page menu, click Campaigns, Ad groups, Ads, or Keywords.
  3. Select the checkbox for the item whose label you want to edit.
  4. In the bar above the table, click Label.
  5. Hover your cursor over the label, then click the pencil icon to edit.
  6. Click the trash icon Delete.
  7. On the “Remove label” screen, click Remove.
