Download a report

To analyze your account's performance offline and integrate the data with your own reporting systems, you can download performance data using any of the following methods:

  • Use the Search Ads 360 reporting API. Use the API to fully automate integrating Search Ads 360 reporting data with data you already have about your products, customers, and business goals (from a CRM system, for example).
  • Download from the Search Ads 360 UI into bulksheets. You can download into a bulksheet as needed, or schedule recurring downloads and have Search Ads 360 email the bulksheet to you. By default, the download contains the same data that exists in the Search Ads 360 reporting table, along with additional columns for editing campaign, ad group, or other settings (depending on which report you're downloading). You can customize the data that will be downloaded.

Use the Search Ads 360 Reporting API

The new Search Ads 360 Reporting API is a read-only API that provides flexibility and enhanced performance for managing and processing your Search Ads 360 reporting data at scale.

The API is based on modern technologies and is consistent with Google's latest development standards. It is built on the same platform as the Google Ads API.

The new API unifies reporting and querying. Using a query language, you can directly query all resources, from campaigns to a specific keyword that triggered an ad. Learn more about the new Search Ads 360 Reporting API.

If you're already using the Search Ads 360 API, we strongly recommend upgrading to the new Reporting API. Migration guide.

Download reports into bulksheets

  1. Sign in to your new Search Ads 360.
  2. Navigate to a reporting table. From the page menu, select Accounts (Performance or Notifications), Keywords (Search KeywordsNegative Keywords, or Search terms), Ads, Ad Groups, or Campaigns.
  3. Select a time range for the report.
  4. Optionally adjust the type of data that will appear in the report by doing any of the following:
  5. Specify the items to include in the report by doing either of the following in the reporting table:
    • Select the check box next to each item you want to include.
    • Filter the table so it contains only the items you want to report on.
  6. Click the download icon which appears above the reporting table, and select a file format.
    • Excel .csv
    • .csv
    • .tsv
    • .pdf
    • .xlsx
    • .xml
    • Google Sheets
    • Web Query
    • Email now: If you want to receive the report in an email instead of downloading it to your browser's download directory. Search Ads 360 sends an email to the addresses you specify when it finishes generating the report. The email contains a download link.
      • Note: Manager-level users can add and remove manager-level users from sub-manager level items. Sub-manager level users can add and remove sub-manager level email recipients, and check and remove manager-level email recipients from sub-manager level items.
    • Optionally click Schedule and set up a schedule to deliver reports on a regular basis.
  7. Click Download.

Search Ads 360 generates the report and either downloads the file to your browser's download directory or sends an email, depending on the delivery option you selected.

If you selected to download a report and the report is very large, it may take awhile for Search Ads 360 to generate the report. You can still use Search Ads 360 while the report is generating. A status bar indicates the progress of the report generation. When it's complete, a Download link appears in the status bar. Click the link to download the report.

Known issue

Large Excel downloads (with 100,000 or more rows) only work for reports that you receive by email; they won’t work for reports that are downloaded directly in the UI.
