Create a Google sFTP endpoint

If you upload bulksheets frequently, you can use your own software to upload to an sFTP endpoint. Learn more about using sFTP to securely upload bulksheets.

If you use Google sFTP, Search Ads 360 automatically detects changes to bulksheets and uploads them.

You can create and manage a Google sFTP endpoint from a manager, sub-manager, or client account.

The username and password generated by the new Search Ads 360 cannot be edited. Once you click Close, you can't view the password again. If you lose the password, you can reset it. Copy these into a password manager.
  1. Sign in to your new Search Ads 360..
  2. Click the tools and setting icon
  3. Under "Bulk actions", click Uploads.
  4. Click the Schedules tab.
  5. Click the plus button .
  6. If required, click Download to select and download the template you require for Campaign, Ad group, Text ad , Responsive search ad , Responsive display ad , Keyword, or Negative keyword.
  7. In Schedule name, enter a descriptive name for the connection. The name only appears in the new Search Ads 360.
  8. In Source, select Use Google’s sFTP.
  9. In Step 1 “Create Connection”, in Connection Purpose, select your sFTP endpoint's purpose.
    • You can select multiple purposes. Ensure you drop your file to a specific subfolder (not the root folder) to ensure the system recognizes the connection's purpose.
  10. Select Multiple accounts or This account.
    • Changes can only apply to any accounts included in your file.
  11. If required, select and enter details to Send an email when upload is finished.
  12. Click Create.
  13. Complete Step 2 “Review sFTP credentials”.
    • Save your password to a Password Manager.
  14. Click Save.

The endpoint is created. The new Google sFTP upload schedule is listed in the "Schedules" table in the lower part of the Schedules tab.
