Rich Media tracking: Manual close doesn't fire on custom close.
To fix this issue with standard Rich Media tracking:
- If you're using a custom close button for expanding or floating creatives, you must call the function that fires this tracking instance manually on close click:
- Use the DoubleClick Studio Close Button component and replace the default x graphic with your own custom graphics for all button states (mouse off, mouse over, mouse click, hit area). The close button automatically generates the standard manual close tracking when clicked. No additional ActionScript is necessary.
- Use the DoubleClick Studio Invisible Close Button component. Place the component over your custom close button graphic on the stage. This invisible close button automatically generates the standard manual close tracking when clicked. No additional ActionScript is necessary.
