Video Player Advanced build guide
Adjust playlist start and end options
Video Player Advanced lets you create video playlists, and you have a few options for how your playlists start and end. The start options automatically apply to the first video in the playlist, and the end options automatically apply to the last video in the playlist.
If you want the options to apply to each video and you don't want the video playlist to autoplay through the whole list, add this code to your ActionScript:
Determine how your video playlist begins by going to Video start options in the Component Inspector:
Buffer and play immediately.
(Default) Plays the video as soon as possible. When this is selected, the video is considered autoplay, and final billing reflects this.
Buffer and wait for command.
Use for progressive playback. Allows the video to buffer and wait for a
play()command executed against the component instance.
Wait for command.
Use for progressive playback. Waits for a
buffer()command before buffering and playing the video.
After video buffers: Call function...
(Optional) Specify a function that's called after the video buffers. For example, call a function to change the appearance of the creative after buffering is done.
Determine what happens when your video playlist ends by going to Video end options in the Component Inspector:
Show last frame of video.
Shows the last frame of the final video in your playlist.
Show first frame of video.
Shows the first frame of the final video in your playlist.
Hide the video.
Hides the video player after the final video has ended.
When video has finished: Call function...
(Optional) Specify a function that's called after the video has finished playing. For example, call a function to change the appearance of the creative after the video is completed.
Close the creative when the video completes. This feature works with AS3 creatives and will soon work with AS2 creatives.
