Join the waiting list

Reserve with Google lets you join a restaurant’s waiting list with your Google Account. You can keep track of where you are on the waiting list, and how long your current wait will be.

How to join a waiting list

You can add yourself to any participating restaurant’s waiting list. Restaurants with 'Join waiting list' in their business’ knowledge panel are eligible for you to join the waiting list.

To join a restaurant’s waiting list, follow the steps below:

1. In Google Maps or Search, select the restaurant that you want to visit.
2. In the restaurant's knowledge panel, click Join waiting list.
3. To adjust your party size, click Add or Remove . Then click Continue. 
4. Enter your phone number. Then click Join waiting list.
   Tip: The number that you enter is used as the main point of contact with the restaurant.
5. To return to the business’s knowledge panel, click Done. You’ll see your current waiting time and how many parties are ahead of you.
   • To remove yourself from the waiting list, click Leave the waiting list.

How to delete your waiting list entry

To delete your waiting list entry, follow the steps below:

1. Go to  Reserve with Google.
2. In the top left corner, click Menu .
3. Click Bookings  Waitlists.
4. On the waitlist entry that you want to delete, click More .
5. Click Delete booking.
