A course is a series of training modules contained in a single unit that is packaged to be consumed in its entirety. Each training module contains multiple activities, including videos, readings, quizzes, and labs.
Courses can be delivered on-demand or instructor-led (virtual or in-person) and vary in length depending on subject matter and complexity.
On-demand courses
Courses can be discovered in 2 ways: using the search bar or the catalog filters. To use the catalog filters you need to:
- Go to the Explore page
- In the Format filter, click the Course toggle
- Further refine your search if necessary
- Click the course name to start the course
Course Enrollment
You can enroll in a course by viewing a document/link, viewing or starting a quiz, completing a video, or starting a lab.
To unenroll, visit the course overview section and select the "leave course" button at the bottom.
Select resources, such as peer assignments, are only accessible if you are enrolled in a course.
Instructor-led courses
Instructor-led courses are delivered in a classroom setting by an instructor in real time. Each instructor led course is held at a pre-scheduled date and time. Instructor led courses can be delivered virtually or in person, and vary from course to course.
