I hit End Lab and got logged out of Gmail and other Google apps

This problem occurs if you use one type of browser window to sign in to Google apps such as Gmail, Calendar, Drive, etc., and then use the same type of browser window to sign in to Qwiklabs and start a lab. 

Here's how the problem shows up

1. You used one Internet browser (for example, Firefox) to sign in to Google apps such as Gmail.
2. You then used the same browser type (in this example, another Firefox window) to sign in to Qwiklabs.
3. You started a Qwiklabs lab and signed in to the lab with the temporary credentials that the lab provided.
4. You finished the lab. You clicked End Lab, or the lab timed out and ended automatically.
5. You discover that you are no longer signed in to Gmail, Calendar, Drive, or any other Google apps.

How to avoid this problem

1. Use any browser to sign in to your Google apps.
2. To sign in to Qwiklabs and start a lab, use either of the following: 
   • Open an incognito /private browser window,
       - OR  -
   • Open a different type of browser window. For example, if you used Chrome to sign in to your Google apps, open a Firefox window for Qwiklabs,
