The access timer begins when you click Start Lab. The lab ends when the timer runs out, or when you click End Lab if you complete it early. It is recommended to read all lab instructions prior to clicking Start Lab
Lab access time is generally twice as long as the average time it takes to finish a lab. The lab resources (your temporary credentials and access to the Cloud) are available during the lab access time. As a best practice, read any lab instructions before clicking Start Lab.
Additional lab time
You can request extended access timers on all applicable labs in your user settings.
To self-request additional time on self-paced labs:
- Click your avatar, and in the pop-up, click Settings.
- Under Other, click the Opt me in for extended time accommodations when applicable toggle.
- Click Update Settings.
Subscriptions, credits, and access time
Access time for a particular lab is the same, regardless of whether you paid with credits, used an event token, or have a subscription.
