How to use an event token or access code

You can use event tokens, which are sometimes given out at events like Google Cloud Next, to take any Cloud Skills Boost lab for free. The event tokens function as a one-time-use code that can be applied to any lab, no matter the credit cost. 

You can use tokens or access codes to take labs on Cloud Skills Boost without using any of your own credits. The event tokens function as a one-time-use code that can be applied to any lab, no matter the credit cost. You might receive these tokens at events like Google Cloud Next. 

Apply an event token

• Sign in to Cloud Skills Boost.
• Browse the catalog and select the lab you want to take.
• Carefully review the lab manual.
• Click Start Lab. 
• In the dialog box that appears, enter the lab token code.
• Click Launch with Token.

Note: Each token has an expiration date that cannot be extended. 

Tokens or access codes are exclusively distributed at events and cannot be purchased. To take paid labs and quests, you can buy credits and subscriptions. You can also check the catalog for free labs offered by Cloud Skills Boost.
