Learning paths

A learning path is a collection of curated content based on job role. To subscribe to a learning path simply:

 

1. Go to the Paths tab
2. Click on the desired learning path
3. Click Subscribe to this learning path
4. Once subscribed, you will see a pop up message saying “You have been successfully subscribed to this learning path” and you will receive an email confirmation

How does the learning path subscription work?

A learning path subscription is a new feature that we have deployed. Learning paths are curated collections of content by job role and are subscription based. Once you subscribe to a learning path, you can easily track your progress within the learning path. For every course or quest that is completed within the learning path, you will receive a badge. 

Note: Learning paths are an included feature in the cost of your subscription. Also, you will not receive an additional badge once you complete all items in the learning path.

How can I share my learning paths with others?

 

To share your learning path, you must first make your public profile. To do so, simply:

1. Sign in to your account
2. Click the Profile tab
3. Click Make badge profile public

Once your profile is public, you can now share your learning path with your social network. To do so, simply:

1. Sign in to your account
2. Click the Profile tab
3. Click on the Paths tab
4. Select the learning path that you want to share
5. Click the share icon in the top right corner
6. Choose your social network - LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter
7. Social messaging will prepopulate. If you would like to customize your message, you can edit it directly. 
8. Click save and share

Are learning paths available in localized languages? 

Currently, to access content that is localized, please use the catalog language filters and the global language settings on your profile. We are working on making the paths available in localized languages as well.

 

Interact with Learning Paths

Select a learning path

When you don’t yet have an active learning path: 

1. Go to the Paths tab
2. If applicable, scroll past your In Progress and My Favorites sections
3. Click on any learning path card within the grid to see summary details about the path
4. Click on Select this path if you are ready to start, or Learn more to see more details
5. If you chose to Learn more, simply click Select this path on the learning path details page to begin your journey 

When you do have an active learning path: 

1. Find the sticky progress bar at the top of any tab
2. Click on the fast switcher located to the left of the progress bar
3. Click on any of your selected paths to make it the active learning path

Find what’s up next on your learning path

From your new Paths homepage

1. Look at the section titled Up next at the top of the page
2. Immediately jump into the activity by clicking on Start 

From any application tab

1. Find the sticky progress bar at the top of any tab
2. Click on Continue learning path located to the right of the progress bar

Add an additional learning path

1. Find the sticky progress bar at the top of any tab
2. Click on the fast switcher located to the left of the progress bar
3. Click on + Select an additional learning path
4. Finish by jumping to Step 3 in the section titled Selecting a learning path

Remove a learning path

1. Click on your user avatar on the top right corner of the application
2. Click on Settings
3. Click on the Learning paths item on the left
4. Click on the trash icon next to any learning path you would like removed
