When you start a lab, you'll see a "Provisioning lab resources Est. time remaining..." message. This means the lab is loading the necessary resources for you to complete the exercises.
Once the resources are loaded, you'll see the connection details for Google Console. It may take some time for your credentials to appear, even after the estimated time remaining reaches 0 minutes. Please be patient and wait for all credentials to be visible before starting the lab.
Labs cannot be paused
You have until the timer runs out to finish the lab. Labs cannot be paused because the cloud resources provisioned for your lab with temporary credentials would need to remain active during the pause. This is not permitted.
Before you click "Start Lab," we recommend reading through the lab instructions completely.
Ending a lab
- Within the grace period: If you click End Lab within the grace period (typically less than 3 minutes), the lab closes, and any credits used are refunded. The lab will not appear on your Activities page.
- After the grace period: If you click End Lab after the grace period but before finishing the lab, you will lose all your work, your credits will expire, and the lab will be marked as incomplete on your Activities page.
- Upon lab completion: If you finish the lab before the timer runs out, click End Lab to mark the lab as complete on your Activities page.
