Email files
Quickoffice works with your device’s default email client to send email. Select the files you wish to email, then drag to (tablets) or touch (phones) the envelope shaped email icon to launch your device’s mail application.
Print files
You can print files from your phone or tablet on most WiFi printers. Quickoffice works with AirPrint printers on iOS devices to print files and does not have a built-in print function for Android except with Quickoffice version 6.2.4. If you’re not using an AirPrint printer, or are using Quickoffice on Android that is not updated to version 6.2.4, you can still print files that you’ve edited with Quickoffice.
iPads and iPhonesUse AirPrint
Touch the printer icon and then touch print.
- Touch Select Printer to choose which AirPrint printer you'd like to print to
- Touch Range to select which pages to print
- Touch - & + to choose the number of copies to print
Use a Printer that doesn't support Air Print
To print from an iOS device on a WiFi printer that doesn’t support Airprint, you’ll need to install a separate printing application. Most WiFi printer manufacturers have a free application available in iTunes. You can also use a third party printing application if you typically print to many different brands of printers.
- Open the file that you'd like to print in Quickoffice
- Touch Open In icon and select your printer application to open the file for printing.
If you need help setting up your printer application, contact the printer application developer directly.
Print with Quickoffice version 6.2.4 and above
To print with Quickoffice version 6.2.4 and above on an Android device, you can touch on the overflow menu in the top right corner of your screen while viewing a file and select Print. Select the printer you would like to use, along with the number of copies and other relevant details, and touch Print again.
If your file is stored locally on your phone or tablet, you can quickly print by touching the grey i button next to the file name in the file manager and touching the print icon that appears in the menu. You can then follow the same steps as above to finish printing.
Print with a Quickoffice app not updated to version 6.2.4
To print from Quickoffice with a version older than 6.2.4 on an Android device , you’ll need a separate printing application installed. Most WiFi printer manufacturers have a free app available in Google Play. You can also use a third party printing application if you typically print to many different brands of printers.
If your file is stored on your device, use the printer application to navigate to the file and print. Check the print application's user guide for detailed instructions.
If your file is stored in a cloud storage account, use the cloud storage provider's application to open the file in the printer application. If you need assistance setting up and using your printing application, contact the printer application developer.
- Verify that the printer is turned on and is connected to the same WiFi network (there may be multiple networks available in a work setting).
- Some WiFi printers require that you enable WiFi printing, usually through the printer's Setup menu.
- Verify that your WiFi network allows traffic between your mobile device and printer
