Play a slideshow or presentation with Quickoffice

We are no longer making Quickoffice available for download. To work with Microsoft® Office files, install the newest versions of the DocsSheets, and Slides apps from Google Play on your Android phone or tablet, or the Docs, Sheets, and Slides apps from the App Store for your iPhone or iPad. Learn more about editing Office files in Google Docs, Sheets, and Slides.

You can present your slideshows on your device screen or on an external monitor from Quickoffice.

Present slideshows on your phone or tablet

Here's how to enter slideshow mode:

  1. Touch a slide in the film strip to select it - this is where your presentation will begin
  2. Touch the play icon in the toolbar
  3. Quickoffice will display your slides in order

Touch and hold anywhere on your screen to bring up a virtual laser pointer.

Note: Presentation notes will only be visible in slideshow mode with an external display.

Present a slideshow on an iPad or iPhone

There a few ways to move through your slide show:

  • Touch the screen once to move to the next slide
  • Touch and drag horizontally to move to a slide immediately before or after the current slide
  • Touch and drag from the bottom toward the top of your screen to bring up the film strip. Touch a slide in the filmstrip to move to that part of the slide show.

To exit slideshow mode, quickly touch twice anywhere on your screen or pinch zoom out (place two fingers on the screen and move them together).
