View, edit & format spreadsheets with Quicksheet

We are no longer making Quickoffice available for download. To work with Microsoft® Office files, install the newest versions of the DocsSheets, and Slides apps from Google Play on your Android phone or tablet, or the Docs, Sheets, and Slides apps from the App Store for your iPhone or iPad. Quicksheet is the part of Quickoffice that edits spreadsheets. There are a lot of ways to work with spreadsheets in Quickoffice, so here are the basics to get you started:

Freeze panes in a spreadsheet

Freezing rows or columns in a spreadsheet lets you keep them visible while you move through the rest of your spreadsheet.

  • Touch the overflow menu in the top right corner of the screen and select Freeze panes.
  • Touch Freeze to freeze the panes above and to the left of your currently selected cells. Also, you can choose Top row and First column to freeze the top row and first column, respectively.
  • When you want to unfreeze the panes, touch Unfreeze in the overflow menu.

If you are using Quickoffice version 6.2.4 on an Android device, select Freeze from the overflow menu to choose what panes to freeze or unfreeze.

Tip: If you're using an Android device, you can freeze the first row or column with any cell selected from the freeze panes menu.

Enter data and formulas in cells

Just like in Excel, a dialog box with built-in functions appears when you touch on the formula iconx). From there, you can browse the full list of supported functions and view brief descriptions. After choosing a function, you can touch on a cell to reference it in your formula. Touch on the green checkmark to accept the formula.

Format spreadsheets

There are many different ways to format a spreadsheet in Quicksheet. Touch the formatting icon to change font, alignment, borders, cell color and more. Touchping the icon again closes the toolbox. You can change cells selections and move around your document with the formatting toolbox open.
